Key points about the syndicate

In addition to an owner’s badge, when the horse runs we aim to provide a further badge at discount, entry to the parade ring and winners’ enclosure, and entry to owners’ bar at participating courses.

Three syndicate visits are arranged each year when the trainer and his wife meet exclusively with the partnership members to share his thoughts and plans.

Prices start from £1100 and a fixed monthly payment of £160 (both plus VAT) to cover all costs.

Mike Kelly, Syndicate Manager

Whitehills Racing Syndicate aims to offer maximum participation at low cost. A key feature of our approach is a guaranteed owner’s badge for each member when the horse runs (normally in excess of 10 races a season). Occasionally we have opportunities for new syndicate members and if this may be of interest please read on. We’ve been established for 18 years.

Trained by Eric Alston

The syndicate is based with the successful Group One trainer Eric Alston in Preston. We’ve been with Eric for the last 18 years. He has worked hard to find quality horses for the syndicate and as a consequence the partnership has had 23 wins with 94 first four finishes from 214 runs, an incredible 44% placed to run ratio!

Introducing current horse LORD FRANKLIN

Lord Franklin (Sire: Iceman Dam: Zell) is a six year old chestnut gelding who has won nine races to date from his 45 starts, his wins have come at Hamilton, Haydock, Leicester and Nottingham, from distances ranging between 8.5f -10f. He handles any ground and has won on going ranging between soft and good to firm.

A very tough and consistent horse, he has been a first three finisher in 55% of his races to date. A really great partnership horse, racing on 12 occasions in 2015.

Breeding and race records for Lord Franklin, are provided courtesy of the Racing Post - the number 1 newspaper for horse racing results.

Our previous horse Spavento has been retired.
